Q&A Chronic and/or Acute pain

Can you touch on the order of codes. I always get confused on what to place first, the location of pain or the indication is is a chronic pain. Is it the same for acute pain codes?

One guideline to never forget is that Acute always goes before Chronic when coding them together.
